What is Re-entry?
Re-entry is the process of individuals returning back to the community after incarceration. Some have completed their entire sentences. Some are completing their sentence while on parole or probation.
Everyone deserves a second chance.
Re-entry programs help individuals develop the life skills needed to succeed in the community and become law-abiding citizens. Community-based re-entry programs like R.O.O.T.S. work with individuals one-on-one and identify specific resources needed.
Our goal is to help every R.O.O.T.S. member make a successful, permanent transition back into the community — to “get out and stay out.” To accomplish this, we provide training for re-entering citizens in the areas of:
